Curbs on Indian docs in UK ‘wrong’

Indian doctors on Wednesday won a landmark legal battle against the British government when the House of Lords ruled that the state “was wrong” in issuing guidelines discriminating against overseas graduates, mostly Indians, for employment in its health services.

A police officer has accused Bihar Congress legislator Sunita Devi of forcing him to have sex with her for two years. The legislator has denied the charge by her former bodyguard. Bal Yogeshwar Sharma has lodged a complaint at the Kotwali police station here, charging her with sexual exploitation.
