Rewari
Woman, pimp held
: The city police has arrested a young woman of Rampura village, and a pimp, Dhan Singh of Surehli village near Narnaul, from the Railway Road area on the charge of immoral trafficking on Sunday night. Earlier the police sent a decoy customer to Rampura who struck a deal with the woman. A case under sections 3, 4, 5 of the Immoral Trafficking Act has been registered against them.

Crushed to death: Ashok Kumar, who ran a shop at Bhiwadi town near Dharuhera, was crushed to death by a speeding truck on the Dharuhera-Nandrampur road on Saturday night. The mishap occurred when after shutting the shop he was returning to his house in Azad Nagar at Dharuhera. The police has booked the driver for rash and negligent driving.

Two suicides: Santosh Devi (35), wife of Ram Jas, reportedly committed suicide by hanging at Tint village, about 12 km from here, on Saturday night. It is stated that some mental agony led her to take the extreme step. A young man Dinesh Kumar reportedly committed suicide by consuming poison at Baldhan village, about 20 km from here, on Saturday night.

Gang-raped by husband, friends
: A 28-year-old woman of Arayianwala village of Khezrabad block have alleged that she was gang-raped by her husband and his two friends on Friday night in fields near the village. In her complaint to the police she said that her husband Ayub Khan asked to go for a stroll. He took her to the fields at around 10 pm . When she reached the field she saw two more men there. They caught hold of her and raped her. She was married to Ayub Khan about seven years ago and has a five-year-old son. A case has been registered.
