Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Ghamroor 4, Bhang, Dhundhi, Dharamsala Nagrotasurian, Pandoh and Solangnala 2 each and Bhuntar, Karsog and Rampurbushahar 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 5 and Basoli and Katra 2 each, Punjab: Nawanshahr 4 and Nangal 3, East Rajasthan: Swai Madhopur 1 and Uttaranchal: Joshimath and Rudraprayag 2 each.

Forecast (valid until the morning of September 22): Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
