Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala 2, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 4 and Katra 2, Punjab: Nangal 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Balmikinagar 2 and Uttaranchal: Haripur 14, Bausan 12 and Rishikesh 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 14: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
