On hearing the news, the Principal, Dr Daljit Singh and the college doctor took the girls to government hospital in a car. However, Parveen who was a student of B.Sc (Economics) died in the hospital while Ramandip Kaur, a student of B.Sc Food & Technology responded to the treatment.

The parents and relatives of the two girls reached the hospital after hearing the news. They, were seen requesting the mediapersons not to publish the photographs of their daughters or their addresses .

The college management held a condolence meeting and ‘ardas’ and no class was held as a mark of respect to the deceased.
