Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are: Haryana: Tajewala 6, Himachal Pradesh: Paonta 9, Pandoh 3 and Kasol 2, East Rajasthan: Hamirgarh 5, Bhilwara and Begu 4 each, Chittorgarh, Gangdhar, Karaikala and Ramganjmandi 3 each, Bagore, Bahadurpur, Dumla and Tapukra 2 each and Banera, Mavli, Nimbahera, Rashmi and Railmogra 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Neemsar 3, Kanpur 2 and Bhatpurwaghat, Chillaghat, Enginbridge, Hamirpur, Hanumansetu, Lucknow, Shardanagar and Varanasi AP 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Dabri 2 and Gomatia and Shahjina 1 each and Uttaranchal: Rishikesh 6, Uttarkashi 5, Hardwar 3, Pantnagar, Rudraprayag and Tehri 2 each and Dehradun 1.
