Cool showers for a thirsty city
The night of July 2 brought with it the blessing of rain and a good shower followed the next afternoon. Monsoon is here at last after a long dry spell of the sweltering heat scorching the earth and its inhabitants. Monsoon is the season of love, longing, and hope.
Thus it brings along many celebrations and festivals. However, it is too
early to start rejoicing. Let the good earth be soaked by more rain and
then there will be time aplenty to rejoice.
