Medicos bring city down to its knees
Rail, road traffic blocked; court work struck; shops closed
Chandigarh, May 30
Medicos observed a half-day bandh against the government’s proposed reservation policy, leaving the city completely paralysed, here today. Human chains blocking traffic on all major roads, complete closure of shops and business establishments, suspension of work in District Courts, disruption of rail and road traffic and complete public support.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed the petition filed by some former office-bearers of the Municipal Council, Mohali, challenging the delimitation of wards notified by the delimitation board headed by the then SDM, Mohali.
