UT boy tops engineering entrance test

Chandigarh, May 24
Raghu Mahajan has done the city proud by topping the All-India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). The results were declared by the CBSE this afternoon. A student of S.D Public School, Sector 32, Raghu has been a topper throughout his academic career. Raghu hit the headlines yesterday when he secured the second position in the CBSE Class XII exam.

He is currently away to Mumbai to prepare for the International Physics Olympiad to be held at Singapore later this year. Talking to TNS over the telephone an elated Raghu stated that he was very happy and would like to pursue computer engineering from IIT, Mumbai. Raghu secured 94.2 per cent marks in the Class XII examinations. — TNS
