Chamber’s plea: The Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry senior vice president, Dr NC Jain has written a letter to Union Railway Minister Mr Lalu Prasad Yadav demanding improvement in the quality of services on the Shatabadi. Dr Jain has stated in the letter that many a times the food stuff is not upto the mark and there is no proper checking by any supervising staff for this purpose. Food is also served late. Dr Jain further observed that the coaches were not properly disinfected and the passengers complained of foul smell and the same case was with toilets.

Stir threat: A meeting of the HSEB Workers’ Union was held here on Wednesday. Mr Devi Prasad Bhatt presided over the meeting. The speakers at the meeting said if the government continued to pursue anti-workers policy, they would stage demonstration on May 11 at SDM office.
