Lions Club adopts school
Ludhiana, April 29
The Lions Club, Ludhiana Sutlej, has adopted a government school in Kundanpuri under which it will bear the expenses of education of the children.
At a function organised here today, Mr R.D. Sharma, president of the club, said around 150 students of Government Elementary Central School, Kundanpuri, would be provided with books, notebooks, uniforms and other necessities.
NCC motivation camp at school
Ludhiana, April 29
An interactive-cum-motivation session for NCC cadets was organised at Kundan Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, under 3 Punjab girls Battalion, NCC Ludhiana, yesterday.
About 450 students and staff attended the lecture delivered by Col S. K. Varni, group commander of the NCC group Headquarters here.
