Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: Temperatures were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana, Punjab and east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 35.7°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were below normal in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.6°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 5: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
