Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

The minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.9°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of Feb 27: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of Feb 27: Partly cloudy sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 16°C.
