Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum. temperatures fell in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Punjab and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: This was below normal in Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.2°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 7th December 2005: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of
7th December 2005:
Mainly clear sky. Mist is likely in morning. The minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
