Saturday night have brought relief operations to a
standstill in this earthquake-affected area near the Line
of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Incredible misery is
being heaped upon the hapless quake victims as the rains
left them exposed to extremely cold and wet conditions.

Pakistan, one of the major cotton exporting countries, shook the
international cotton market too. And its benefit will go to farmers of

violence broke out in Mau this evening and curfew and shoot-at-sight orders
continued for the third consecutive day, the Uttar Pradesh Government suspended
top administrative and police officials.
