Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Regoli (east Uttar Pradesh) has recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above the normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, above the normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 17C recorded at Udaipur City (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 5, 2005: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
