Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh has changed his schedule in Chandigarh to incorporate an hourlong meeting with Congress men of Punjab at the Party office in Sector 15 here on Saturday.
The meeting with more than 500 Congressmen will be attended by block and
district level functionaries, the Punjab Chief Minister, Punjab Pradesh
Congress Committee chief, other office-bearers besides Cabinet Ministers
and MLAs.

Bibi Jagir Kaur’s visa not rejected
New Delhi, September 22
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur’s application for a US visa has not been rejected.
Mr David Kennedy, Press Attache and spokesman in the US Embassy here, told this correspondent that
Bibi Jagir Kaur’s visa application was “still alive”.
Rain dashes hope
