Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: Haryana: Tohana 7,Ellanabad and Rania 5 each and Ayanagar, Hissar,Guhla,Karnal, Nilokheri, New Delhi (Palam and Safdarjung),Panipat and Sirsa 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Bangana,Chamba, Chauraha, Guler, Sujanpurtira and Tissa 2 each and Bhuntar, Barsar, Kandaghat, Nadaun and Nagrotasurian 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Bhaderwah 3, Batote and Bhoond 2 each and Basoli and Patti 1 each, Punjab: Moga, Madhopur,
