Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chirag Delhi 8, New Delhi (Safdarjung), 7, Chandigarh 5, Ambala and Ayanagar 2 each and New Delhi (Palam) 1; Himachal Pradesh: Kahu 2 and Berthin and Kasol 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu and Katra 1 each, Punjab: Batala 4, Balachaur and Ludhiana 2 each and Amritsar, Nangal and Ropar 1 each; East Rajasthan: Deeg and Kaman 4 each, Tizara 2 and Bari, Baseri, Basuwa, Kumher, Nagar and Pahari 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Banda 11, Chandradeepghat 6, Bhatpurwaghat and Raebareilly 5 each, Kakardharighat 4, Varanasi AP 3 and Ayodhya, Balrampur, Basti, Dalmau, Elginbridge, Gonda, Jaunpur, Katerniaghat and Kakrahi 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 3 and Shahjina 2 and Uttaranchal: Banbasa, Dehra Dun, Mukteshwar and Srinagar 1 each.
