Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have been reported at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: Himachal Pradesh: Nagrotasurian 8, and Guler 5; east Uttar Pradesh: Birdghat 2 and Rae Bareli 1; and Uttaranchal: Hardwar 3 and Haripur 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 16: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 16: Partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundery development/light rain in some areas.
