New Delhi, July 12
With the Congress central leadership likely to announce the name of new Punjab PCC chief "soon", Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is coming to Delhi tomorrow to apprise Congress President Sonia Gandhi of his views on the proposed changes in the PCC.

Sources said Punjab PCC chief H. S. Hanspal had submitted his resignation to Ms Gandhi about a week back and changes in the PCC were imminent.

Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who is in-charge of Punjab, is also expected to return from Kolkata tomorrow.

Sources said the Congress central leadership was keen on having the new PCC chief from Dalit community.

Talking to reporters here today, Congress general secretary Ambika Soni said Punjab Chief Minister had given information to the AICC about his visit to Dubai.

He had informed Mr Mukherjee, she said. Ms Soni, however, did not comment on queries about Chief Minister having taken clearance from the PMO for his Dubai visit.
