Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at Isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: Himachal Pradesh: Pandoh 5; East Rajasthan: Begu 6, Bilasrolgarh and Parol 5 each, Roopwas and Rawatbhata 4 each, Bijoliya, Jahajpur and Railmogra 3 each, Bhilwara, Hamirpur, Kothari, Mangalgarh and Pidawa 2 each and Gangrar, Jhalawar, Nimbahera and Udaipur AP 1 each; East Uttar Pradesh: Kakrahi 10, Balrampur 7, Katerniaghat 3, Bansi 2 and Chandradeepghat 1; West Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 1; and Uttaranchal: Rishikesh 9, Pantnagar 4, Dehra Dun 3 and Haripur and Uttarkashi 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 12: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.
