Heat wave conditions are prevailing in some parts of Rajasthan. they have abated from Haryana and Punjab.

Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, at many places in Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. New Delhi (Palam and Safdarjung) has recorded 3 cm of rainfall.

Past 24 hours change: They maximum temperatures rose in east Uttar Pradesh, fell appreciably in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, fell in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little in east-Rajasthan. Departure:
This was appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was
46°C recorded at Churu and Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).
