Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region. Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperature changed little. 

Departure: They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and above normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 43.4°C recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of April 24. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorm/thunderstorm likely in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 24: Partly cloudy sky with dust haze. Thundry development/light rain accompanied with squall is likely in some areas during evening/night. The maximum temperature will be around 39°C.
