Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 36.8°C recorded at Jhalawar, Rajasthan.

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 9.8°C recorded at Adampur, Punjab.
