Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region. Temperature: past 24 hour change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh, fell in Punjab, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.0 °C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of November 21: Rain or snow is likely at isolated place in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
