Major, 2 others killed in blast

Jammu, November 19
An Army major and two jawans were killed and a Captain was critically wounded when the vehicle in which they were travelling was blown up in a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) blast at Behramgala in Poonch district today.

Army sources said an IED, planted by militants on the Behramgala road, went off in the evening as a result of which a Major and two jawans were killed on the spot, while a Captain sustained critical splinter injuries. — UNI
