New Delhi, November 19
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today declined to comment on Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf’s statement that Islamabad was “not encouraged” by the signals coming from India over the Kashmir issue.
Asked by reporters about his reaction to Gen Musharraf’s charge that New Delhi was not showing flexibility on the issue, the Prime Minister said he would not like to comment on it now.
Dr Manmohan Singh was approached by the reporters on the sidelines of the 9th Indira Gandhi Conference “India in the next decade” organised by the Indira Gandhi memorial here to mark her 87th birth anniversary.
