Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in east Rajasthan, Uttar Prdesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Sundernagar 1, east Rajasthan: Girwa, Solopat and Udaipur A.P. 4 each, Gogunda 3, Danpur, Rupali and Salumber 2 each and Arnod, Dariabad, Garhi, Pindwara, Ramgarh, Sajangarh and Sheuganj 1 each, west Rajasthan: Barmer, Jalore and Sahila 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Khadda 3, Ghazipur 2 and Mirzapur and Varanasi 1 each west Uttar Pradesh: Etawah 3 and Dabri and Fatehgarh 1 each and Uttaranchal: Rishikesh 3 and Bausan 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 21st: Rain or thunderhsowers will occur at many places in Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
