Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo Shibu Soren was today released on bail in connection with the 1974 Giridh twin murder case.
Superintendent of Police Sashinath Jha told UNI that the administration had issued Mr Soren's release order from the makeshift jail, where he was languishing for over a month in judicial custody, after first class Judicial Magistrate Janardan Singh ordered his release on furnishing sureties of Rs 5,000.
The Jharkhand High Court had earlier granted him conditional bail in connection with the 1975 Chirudih massacre case and the Giridih twin murder case.
