Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Himachal Pradesh recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, rose in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, fell appreciably in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. Departure: This was above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, markedly below normal in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably below normal in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.7 C recorded at Jaisalmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 14: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh. Isolated duststorms or thunderstorms are likely in the rest of the region.
