Talking to mediapersons here, LJP chief said his party would strive for early and effective implementation of the UPA’s Common Minimum Programme.
Describing it as “common main programme” of the government, Mr Paswan said his party had been fighting for reservation in the private sector.
Asked about the realignment of the forces for the Assembly poll in Bihar next year and the possibility of the JD(U) joining hands with the LJP, Mr Paswan said ground realities in Bihar would decide the party’s next course.
Mr Paswan said his party was not averse to a positive realignment of forces but those who wanted to go with the party would have to clear their stand.
