Sedition case against Sushma

Meerut, May 20
A case of sedition under Sections 124A 153, 153A, 384 and 385 of the IPC has been registered against BJP leaders, Mrs Sushma Swaraj, her husband Swaraj Kaushal, MP Chief Minister Uma Bharati and Mr Govindacharya on a petition by an office-bearer of the Western UP Congress and an advocate. The petition was lodged in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Xth.

The Court accepted the petition of the Western UP Congress spokesperson, Prof Pradeep Arora, and a former president of the Meerut Bar Association, advocate Ajay Tyagi.
