New Delhi, April 3
Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: past-24 hour change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Himachal Pradesh, rose in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Punjab, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and above normal in west Uttar Pradesh. The highest temperature in the region was 41.7°C recorded at Allahabad.

Forecast valid until the morning of April 5: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood: valid until the morning of April 5: Mainly clear sky. Rise in day temperature likely. Maximum temperature will be around 39°C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi: forecast valid until the morning of April 5: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
