Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in west Rajasthan. The highest temperature in the region was 40.4°C recorded at Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in east Uttar radesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 10°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 28: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 28: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 34°C and 18°C respectively.
