Teachers ‘help’ VVIP wards copy Bathinda, March 11 In one of the two examination centres set up in this school where the wards of VVIPs are taking the exam, special subject invigilators were put on duty allegedly to facilitate copying. Mr Wazir Chand, Controller of Exams, when contacted, said that he was not allowed to enter the examination centres by the centre superintendent. He added that he did not know how the teachers of particular subjects were being put on duty when the exam of their subject was being held. Kataria, On the other hand, Mr Ashok Gupta, father of the victim, who has approached the Punjab State Human Rights Commission in the case, said his son was under depression after the incident. He had been finding it difficult to take the remaining exams. Mr Rajesh Kumar, Principal of the school, when contacted pointed out that it was confirmed that special invigilators of special subjects were being put on duty for the wards of VVIPs, who had been taking ten plus two exams. He said that a lecturer of physics, who was on regular duty in centre number one of the school was put on duty in the centre number two when the physics exam of the student was taken. And when the exam of chemistry was held, a lecturer of chemistry was put on exam duty in the same centre though he was not on regular duty.
