Stating this at a district-level workers meeting here yesterday, the secretary general of the HVP, Mr Surinder Singh, claimed that the January 18 rally held at Sonepat had motivated the party activists in Sonepat, Jind, Rohtak and Jhajjar districts, who clearly believe that a ‘HVP wave’ was sweeping the state.

Did you know that out of 250 people who suffered from heart attacks, 5 patients were below the age of 19? This shocking figure was revealed in a survey called ‘The Create Study’ conducted by Hyderabad based Mahavir Hospital and Research Center recently. What was also striking was the fact that out of these 250 people, 30 people were under the age of 30.

Punjab Police to meet P&SB in hockey final

Punjab Police will meet Punjab and Sind Bank in the final of the DDA Prize Hockey Tournament at the Shivaji Stadium at 12 noon on Friday. In the semi-finals on Thursday, Punjab Police defeated Indian Oil Corporation 1-0 while Punjab and Sind Bank prevailed over Army XI.
