The nullah should be beautified by planting trees on its banks, he said.RESENTMENT: Resentment prevails among retired employees of Local Self Government Department of the Punjab Government. At a meeting of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh of Gurdaspur district held here on Thursday, it was mentioned that while the employees of the Local Self Government were getting DA @ 59 per cent, the retirees of the department were getting DA @ 55 per cent. The Minister for Local Self Government was urged that those retirees who had crossed 65 years should be given 5 per cent excess of their basic pay.
