Rainfall:
Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were below normal in West Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and West Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and East Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.4°C recorded at Ambala and Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of January 14: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 14: Partly cloudy sky. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
