BJP holds poll meeting

Woman killed
Khanna, January 12
A woman died in a road accident on the GT Road here on Monday. Rajinder Kaur and her husband Ranjit Singh were going to Gobindgarh on their scooter. When they reached near a bus shelter, a truck hit their scooter which over turned and rammed into a bus standing at the shelter.

Two hundred judokas took part in the first district public schools judo championship held at Ryan International School, Urban Estate, Phase II, here yesterday. Ms Anupama Sapra, Principal of the host school, inaugurated the one-day meet while Mr Prem Singh, secretary, Punjab Throwball Association, gave away prizes to participants.
