Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: These were below normal in Punjab, above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.3°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of December 5: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
