Rainfall:
Weather was dry over the region.
Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departures: These were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 35.°C recorded at Jalore (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: These were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 2: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 2: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 16°C.
