Weather was mainly dry over the region.
Temperatures (Past 24 hours change): Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 37.6°C recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal, below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.6°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 14: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
