Dhalia Principal Secretary to Chautala

Chandigarh, January 1
Mr B.D. Dhalia, a 1969-batch IAS officer, today took over as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Haryana, following the retirement of Mr M.K. Miglani yesterday.

Besides holding the prestigious assignment, Mr Dhalia will also look after the Home, Jails, Criminal Investigation, Administration of Justice and Development and Panchayat Departments as the Financial Commissioner and Administrative Secretary.

Mr Dhalia belongs to Sirsa, the native district of Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala.

Meanwhile, Mr Miglani has been appointed Principal Adviser to the Chief Minister with immediate effect.
