Temple terror ends
2nd ultra shot after 5-hr gunbattle
Jammu, November 25
The drama of terror which began last evening when a two-member terrorist squad of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) attacked Raghunath Temple and the nearby Shiv temple, ended this morning with the security forces killing both of them after a 12-hour gunbattle on the two temple premises.

The terrorist attack on Raghunath Temple in Jammu figured in Parliament today with angry Opposition members disrupting question hour in both Houses for nearly 10 minutes while demanding a full-fledged discussion on the issue.

Pakistan behind attack, says Advani
New Delhi, November 25
India was “determined” to win the war against cross-border terrorism, Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani today assured Parliament and charged Pakistan with attempting to create a communal divide in Jammu and Kashmir by masterminding acts of terrorism, including last night’s terrorist attack on Raghunath Temple.

The Union Minister of State for Home, Mr I.D. Swami, today asked the Jammu and Kashmir Government to review its policy towards militants in view of the yesterday’s attack on two famous temples here. He said pursuing its policy of providing a “healing touch”, the PDP-Congress coalition government should release militants only after getting individual cases examined by a screening committee.
