155 agitators arrested
Patna, October 31
Train services were thrown out of gear in Bihar while over 155 agitators rounded up during the dawn-to-dusk ‘rail chakka jam’ called by the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) on Thursday to protest the Centre’s decision to close down Barauni Fertiliser Factory. Official sources said at least 100 persons were arrested in Samastipur district followed by 40 in Barauni, 12 in Lakhisarai and three in Patna so far. UNI
