45 die in Pak bus mishap

Fortyfive persons were killed and 10 injured when a Lahore-Islamabad luxury coach fell from the Sohawa bridge in Jhelum district early this morning. Most of the passengers were coming here to attend the urs of a famous saint “Barri Imam” which began today at the Margala hills. UNI

10 Maoists killed
Kathmandu June 2
Nepalese security forces shot dead 10 Maoist rebels across the country, the Defence Ministry said today. Four rebels were killed today in an encounter with the security forces in the Bageshwori area of Banke district. It said four rebels were killed in the Parewa Danda area of Lamjung district yesterday. PTI
