Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in Uttaranchal. The highest temperature in the region 47.9°C was recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of May 15: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Isolated duststorms or thunderstorms are likely in Haryana, north Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of May 15: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of duststorm/thunderstorm in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 42°C.
