The South-west monsoon has further withdrawn from the remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh and thus withdrawn from the entire northern region. Withdrawal line passes from Porbandar, Indore, Jabalpur, Daltonganj, Patna and Raxaul.

The South-west monsoon has further withdrawn from the remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh and thus withdrawn from the entire northern region. Withdrawal line passes from Porbandar, Indore, Jabalpur, Daltonganj, Patna and Raxaul.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Varanasi city (east Uttar Pradesh) recorded 4 cm of rainfall. Fresh light snowfall has been reported in Kinner Kailash range and surrounding hills.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 29: Light rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of September 29: Hazy sky. Maximum temperature will be around 36°C.
