Monsoon has been vigorous in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and active in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Naraingarh 7, Amabala and Chandigarh 5 each, Kalka 4 and Jagadhari 3, Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 9, Pandoh 8, Guler 6, Bharwain, Kotkhai and Nagrotasurian 5 each, Bangana, Berthin, Bhuntar, Sangrah and Shimla 2 each and Ghamroor, Jubbal, Paonta, Rajgarh, Sunibhaji and Una 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Batote 6, Jammu 5, Banihal 2 and pahalgam and Quazigund 1 each, Punjab: Batala 12, Bathinda and Gurdaspur 5 each and Derabassi 1, and Rajasthan: Udaipur 8, Jodhpur and Pilani 6 each, Ajmer and Jaipur 2 each and Barmer and Jaisalmer 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 13: Rain or thundershowers will occur at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, south Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at many places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at a few places with very heavy falls at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and south Rajasthan during the next 48 hours. Heavy rain is also likely at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of July 13: Light to moderate rain will occur at many places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
